In 1963 nearly five hundred Americans had died in vietnam.
Then soon after Diem was murdered, the south vietnamese government came
close to falling. By March 1964, Vietcong controlled about 40% of
south Vietnam. By 1967 there were 486,000 Americans troops in Vietnam. They
were commanded by General William Westmoreland. More then 2.5 million Americans
served in the Vietnam war. The women were also supporting the war. Some believe North Vietnam shoul be invaded. In 1975,
North Vietnam conquered south Vietnam and set up communist forces called Khmar
Rouge took over Cambodia They killed 1.5 million Vietnamese. Vietnam invaded Cambodia
in 1979 to get rid of the Khmer Rouge and stayed until 1989.

My Thoughts
I thought the war was too extreme, many had lost their lives, many families were destroyed and it was all just a pointless fight that should had been resolved differently.
